beehive
I was stung by a bee #RIP bee :(
swarms of bees chattering beside me. Creases of my ears covered in agave; pollen dusting the air. Stems bludgeoning the crust of the soil. Little wings flapping, vibrating the air like a radio wave; sending a shiver in another language– one I don’t understand. Furry legs walk on lobes. It makes me laugh– all well knowing– I could be stung. But to me, it would be a hole for a gem on a conch, a hoop on a helix. All these pretty words sung by the bees entice me. Sweeten the deal- a whole hive sent to me to scare a beautiful growth.
